Founder
Kathleen believes horses are for everyone. Kathleen is a trained school psychologist and certified equine specialist in mental health and learning through PATH Intl. Her love of community, desire to make the world a safer and more equitable place, and passion for sharing life with horses led her to found Stable Space.
Amanda Eberhardt
Program Facilitator
Amanda’s unique bond with her childhood horse fostered her appreciation for the healing power of animals. She rode and showed horses for 20 years, including being on the equestrian team at Purdue. Amanda has experience working in zookeeping, veterinary practices, and wildlife rehabilitation and is a former elementary teacher with IPS.
Makenna Mickel
Program Assistant
Working with a functional medicine practice, Makenna is passionate about holistic wellness and barn life. Makenna’s hope is that every participant experiences a sense of calm, presence, and renewal during their time at Stable Space. She believes there is something very special about the way horses help us return to ourselves.
Olivia Cope
Program Assistant
Graduating from Indiana University with a degree focused on human-animal relationships and animal behavior, Olivia loves the opportunity to help others reconnect with themselves, nature, and horses.
